Your deck. Your data. Your control.

Uploading your pitch deck takes trust. Here's exactly how Sailboard handles your materials — no legal boilerplate, no hedging. Just the facts.

Never stored

Your pitch deck is processed in working memory while we analyse it. It is never written to a database, never saved to disk, and never persisted in any form. Once analysis completes, the file is deleted from temporary storage. There is no copy of your deck anywhere on our infrastructure.

Not visible to us

We see the structured output of the analysis — scores, feedback, investor matches — but not the raw content of your deck. Even we at Sailboard cannot go back and read your pitch after analysis runs. There is no admin interface, no storage bucket, no audit log that holds your slides.

Never shared

Your deck and its contents are never shared with investors, partners, or any third party — including the investors we match you with. Those investors never receive your deck, your scores, or your company data. You decide who sees your pitch.

What we do keep

In the interest of full transparency, here is exactly what we save and why:

  • Your analysis results — scores, narrative feedback, quick wins, and investor matches. Saved to your dashboard so you can revisit and track progress across runs.
  • Company details you entered — name, stage, sector, geography, and target raise. Used to power the analysis and re-populate your form on re-runs.
  • Your email address — used to send you your report and, if your startup is a strong fit, to reach out about investment. Never sold or shared.
  • Your actual pitch deck PDF is never part of what we store.
